    Description

    Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring: With the assistance of a Health Heart Ambassador participants learn to manage their high blood pressure by developing habits of routine self-monitoring and tracking. Participants also attend two personalized consultations per month and attend monthly nutritional education seminars each month of the program.

                        LIVESTRONG at the YMCA: Wellness coaches trained in the elements of cancer, post rehab exercise and supportive cancer care, work with each participant to help build muscle mass and strength, increase flexibility and endurance, improve day-to-day life, reduce the severity of therapy side effects, prevent unwanted weight changes, improve energy levels and self esteem.
