They do not train dogs for Autism, Alzheimer!s, cognitive challenges, diabetes, hearing loss, emotional assistance, post traumatic stress disorders (ptsd) or seizures.

Eligibility
Age 14+, visually impaired or have physical disabilities, not including hearing loss or seizures, must be able to care for dog. Donated puppies must meet KSDS criteria: Pure bred labs or Golden Retriever with parent's pedigrees, OFAs and Eye CERFs. Puppies must be accepted into the program by age 12 weeks.

$25 application fee, dog and training are provided at no cost to the applicant
Intake Procedure
Contact agency for application for receiving service/guide dog, or for serving as a puppy raiser. Request for application is also available on the web site. Wait list of 2-3 years.
