Description

The amount you pay and the length of time to repay your loans will vary depending on the repayment plan you choose. You can change repayment plans at any time. Contact your loan servicer if you would like to discuss repayment plan options or change your repayment plan. You can get information about all of the federal student loans you have received and find the loan servicer for your loans by logging in to My Federal Student Aid. In some circumstances, such as certain kinds of teaching service, total and permanent disability, or the closure of the school where you were studying, your obligation to repay your federal student loan may be removed. After reviewing the conditions on the website, if you think you qualify, contact your loan servicer.

Federal Student Aid, an office of the U.S. Department of Education, ensures that all eligible individuals can benefit from federally funded or federally guaranteed financial assistance for education beyond high school. New applications are available every Jan. 1.
