Description

Contract Compliance is responsible for monitoring, compliance, enforcement, oversight, training and assisting contractors with prevailing wage, Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MWDBE), and Section 3 requirements. They monitor City construction projects, provide Contract Compliance training for all current and potential contractors on City projects, and provide technical assistance by conducting interviews and responding to complaints.

The Human Relations Department assists minority- and women-owned business obtain certification as Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MWDBE). They also set goals for city projects to utilize MWDBE businesses.
