The YWCA Head Start program provides full and part day early childhood services for children in either 9 month or full year program options. Children are grouped in classrooms based on age and developmental level and their learning is centered on activities that promote the integrated development of cognitive, gross/fine motor, socio/emotional, language/literacy, and creative expression skills.

Description
Head Start: Focuses on Kindergarten readiness and promotes children's progress in cognitive/gross/fine motor/socio/emotional/language/literacy/creative expression skills. Children participates in field trips, science, math and reading-readiness experiences and parents are included in all aspects of the childâs growth and development.
