Description:
This program is a joint effort between HUD and VA to provide permanent housing and intense case management services to homeless and low income veterans and their immediate families. This program will include assistance identifying and securing affordable housing, and other resources essential to sustaining independent living in the community. Veterans that qualify for the program will be required to attend a weekly group for the first year, monthly home visits and on-going treatment plan.

Description
The VA offers a housing voucher program called HUD-VASH that works similarly to Section 8. Veterans can attend a weekly information session that explains this program as well as other community housing programs and resources. If a veteran is eligible for HUD-VASH, a referral will be taken immediately after the group.
