Description
Provides minor home repair services to senior citizen homeowners, veterans and individuals with disabilities who are physically and financially unable to do their own repairs. Services include but are not limited to installing new smoke alarms and CO2 detectors, fixing leaky pipes and faucets, unclogging drains, replacing broken switches, sockets and electrical fixtures, changing light bulbs, fixing or replacing door locks and handles and more. **CANNOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY REPAIRS**

- Documentation of home ownership (most recent real estate tax receipt) - Driver's License or ID - Proof of income for all living in the house - 1040 Income Tax Form - Two most recent full bank statements for each checking and savings account in your name - DD-214 indicating honorable discharge is required for Veterans - Call For Details
Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must be: - Homeowners who have lived in their current home for at least 5 years. Homeowners must currently own, live in, and plan to stay in their home. - Older adults who are 65 years and older who need minor home modifications and are physically unable to do their own repairs, and/or - Veterans who are 60 years and older who need minor home modifications and are physically unable to do their own repairs, and/or - Individuals with disabilities of any age who need minor home modifications and are physically unable to do their own repairs. - Low-income households that are financially unable to afford the repairs. - Individuals must be no more than 3 years behind on their real estate taxes **CANNOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY REPAIRS**

Limited funding and resources allow Rebuilding Together to assist only a small portion of requests each year. Therefore, our application process takes time - typically several years.
