Description:
Show Me Healthy Women (SMHW) is a free breast and cervical cancer screening program for women who meet certain age, income and insurance guidelines that reside in the state of Missouri. Provides breast and cervical cancer screenings, mammograms, pap smears to women of specific ages.
Free transportation to and from the SMHW appointment is available in most counties.
Women who qualify after the SMHW screening may also participate in the WISEWOMAN program, which provides annual screenings that measure blood pressure, total cholesterol, HDL, blood glucose, and height and weight for body mass index (BMI).
