Eligibility

To qualify for the interpreter training, an individual must be bilingual with at least some experience in the field of interpreting. Individuals earn a "Certificate of Completion" for taking the 5 day, 40 hour course.

In order to encourage community accessibility and inclusivity, JVS facilitates thousands of interpreting and translating encounters in more than 35 different languages each year. Services include person-to-person interpretation, phone interpretation and written translation.
