Description:
The Community Housing Access Diversion and Prevention Program is designed for homeless or at-risk homeless households with court ordered eviction or for households who have been evicted after April 2020 and been served with a court hearing. Clients may be eligible to receive utility, rent, deposit and eviction payoff assistance.
Community LINC operates housing programs for homeless families including Rapid Re-Housing and Transitional Living. To become a possible candidate for Community LINC!s services families must be assessed through the coordinated entry process due to Federal funding regulations. For this reason, Community LINC no longer directly accepts applications. Households are referred from the community list (also known as the by-name registry list). To get on the list, families would need to have a VI-SPDAT screening interview done by one of Kansas City!s Housing navigators and be referred to Community LINC.
