Description
The VA offers a housing voucher program called HUD-VASH that works similarly to Section 8. Veterans can contact a homeless services care coordinator to learn about this program as well as other community housing programs and resources.
Hours
M-F 8am-4:30pm
Required Documents
Proof of homelessness documentation and DD 214 if available.
Eligibility
Yearly income must not exceed the Housing Authority income guidelines. Must be Homeless per federal definition (preference given to chronically homeless and vulnerable individuals); Must be eligible & registered for Veteran Health benefits.
