Description
Patient Resource Specialists access a specialized database to link patients to information, support and care options. They assist with the logistical, financial, emotional and physical challenges of cancer by expediting referrals, streamlining appointments, assisting with insurance or government assistance paperwork, identifying and facilitating access to financial services, organizing transportation, and arranging for social services.

Description
The Personal Health Manager (PHM) is a durable portfolio of reliable, medically-reviewed cancer information provided to newly diagnosed patients. It's available in 11 languages and filled with materials specific to a patient's cancer type as well as information on helpful local resources. The folio is divided into sections to help organize and keep track of information, insurance forms, bills, test results, appointments with multiple providers, complex treatment and medication schedules, and various other details associate with cancer treatment. No longer available as a physical item. All documents can be downloaded at cancer.org
