Assistance with KCP&L for American Indians.

M-Th 8:30 - 4:30 By appointment
Required Documents
Proof of identity, SS cards for all household members, proof of income, proof of address, tribal identification card or papers. Disconnect notice.
Eligibility
Participants must be a KCP&L customer, American Indian, either tribally enrolled or eligible for enrollment, with an income at 125% of poverty level or less, unless they are elderly or disabled, which requires income at 150% of poverty level or less. Must have utility disconnect notice, but service must not be disconnected.

Required Documents
Proof of identity, address, income and SS cards for all household members must be provided for intake. Those who are Native need to bring their tribal card or papers.
Eligibility
Participants must be American Indian, either tribally enrolled or providing an affidavit of descent, with an income at 125% of poverty level or less, unless they are elderly or disabled, which requires income at 150% of poverty level or less. Friday produce distribution open to all.
