Description
FEEA offers eligible federal employees confidential, no interest loans to help recover in times of emergency or hardship. Loans may be used to pay rent or mortgage payments, home utilities, or funeral expenses, out-of-pocket uncovered medical expenses, emergency travel expenses, temporary lodging due to natural disaster.

Required Documents
Online application; electronic copies of most recent SF-50, most recent household earning statements, evidence of hardship (death certificate, FMLA papers, doctors note, police or insurance report), copy of bills for which you are requesting assistance, copy of state-issued driver or non-driver ID, signed copy of FEEA's credit release authorization form
Eligibility
Full or part-time permanent federal civilian or postal employees, employed with the federal government for more than one year. Must have experienced one of the following hardships in the last 3 months; severe illness, injury, or dental emergency of the employee; severe illness or injury of an immediate family member; death of an immediate family member; major loss/damage to primary residence due to a disaster like a fire/flood/hurricane; victim of domestic violence with immediate need for safe housing; victim of violent crime or identity theft.

Eligibility
Children, step-children, and legal dependents of full- or part-time permanent federal civilian or postal workers employed with the federal government for more than three years, as well as the employees themselves and their spouses.
