Individuals should seek testing from their primary health care provider first before making an appointment. Supplies and appointment times are limited. This is a drive-thru testing clinic. Remain in your vehicle for testing; do not enter the building.

Description
Through JCDHE's Outreach Nurse Program, Registered Nurses provide blood pressure checks, infant weight checks and counseling on infant growth and development, infant care, breastfeeding, nutrition, safety and immunizations. JCDHE also offers the Nurse Family Partnership program for first time mothers who are 28 weeks pregnant or less and meets income requirements.

Description
This health department is a safe haven for persons wishing to legally surrender physical custody of their infant. A parent or other person having lawful custody of an infant may leave the infant (without fear of prosecution) in the hands of staff. A parent will not be prosecuted for leaving their newborn at a safe haven if they follow the laws, assuming the child is under 45 days old and shows no signs of abuse or neglect.
