They do not train dogs for Autism, Alzheimer!s, cognitive challenges, diabetes, hearing loss, emotional assistance, post traumatic stress disorders (ptsd) or seizures.

Eligibility
Age 14+, visually impaired or have physical disabilities, not including hearing loss or seizures, must be able to care for dog. Donated puppies must meet KSDS criteria: Pure bred labs or Golden Retriever with parent's pedigrees, OFAs and Eye CERFs. Puppies must be accepted into the program by age 12 weeks.

Dog and training are provided at no cost to the applicant
Intake Procedure
Contact agency for application for receiving service/guide dog, or for serving as a puppy raiser. Request for application is also available on the web site. Wait list of 2-4 years.
