"Heroes to Hometown" is a transition program for severely injured service members.
Family Support network aids service and their families needing assistance for normal monthly household obligations.
The National Emergency Fund assists current year paid members of The American Legion with temporary financial relief for losses sustained in a declared natural disaster.

Description
With the Service member gaining VALID membership the individual post will at times provide financial assistance. It is not consistent, and the Veteran must go into the American Legion Post and meet with the Commander.

Must have served Active duty in the United States Armed Forces during any of the following war eras listed below and have been honorably discharged or are still serving: PERSIAN GULF/ WAR ON TERRORISM, OPERATION JUST CAUSE, LEBANON/GRENADA, VIETNAM, KOREA, WWII, WWI
