Spire's Red Tag Program provides funds to repair furnaces that have been "red tagged" as a hazard to operate or is inoperable. Intake is done at Community Action Partnership of Greater Saint Joseph

Must own home; repairs must be needed to the furnace or boiler to restore heating; income 185% of poverty level

Customer is responsible for any repair costs above $450

Intake Procedure

Call CAP for intake and ask about the Red Tag Program. If eligible, CAP will refer caller to a provider to perform estimate and repairs.
