Applicants must own and reside in the home in need of exterior repairs, current on mortgage payment and property taxes, hasn't declared bankruptcy or foreclosure within the last year, no open court judgements against them, U.S. Citizen or permanent resident aliens.
Fees
For Lee's Summit: Critical Home Repair- Requires payment of 10% of project cost, not to exceed $500 before the project is initiated.

Homes built or improved in partnership with Habitat are financed with zero interest affordable loans payable by the buyer/owner. Home owner also provides volunteer sweat equity hours.

Provides weatherization for homeowners including furnace repair or replacement, air conditioning replacement if compressor isn't working, weatherstripping/caulking, furnace filter replacement, water heater insulation pipe wrap, low-flow faucet aerators and shower heads, minor repairs to reduce air drafts, attic insulation.
