Description
The Behavior Development program emphasizes the use of Positive Behavior Support to assist individuals and families struggling with challenging behaviors by providing therapy services that work to identify behaviors, what is possibly causing those behaviors, and working with individuals, staff, and families to improve and alleviate those challenging behaviors.

Description
ACTâs Day Program provides daily activities to address individual goals in areas such as socialization, safety, communication, recreation and leisure skills, self-help, personal hygiene and fitness. An overall goal of the program is to provide increased community access through opportunities to participate in local events and visit sites in the mid-Missouri area.

Description
Career Services include skills assessments at various sites that interest the consumer, which then leads to job development. Once employment is placed, the consumer then is eligible to receive "job training" supports for a period of time after initial hire.

Description
Individuals with developmental disabilities can live successfully in the community with the necessary supports. The level of support provided is determined by the individualsâ needs and abilities. Each home has qualified, well-trained staff providing oversight twenty four hours a day. The goal of the Community Living Program is to assist each individual to reach their highest level of independence by providing assistance and guidance in activities that we encounter on daily basis.
