Description
Linking Hearts is a one day annual event for foster children co-sponsored with the Partnership and Children's Division. Foster children from around Missouri gather in Rolla for a day filled with recreational and arts & crafts activities with volunteer student mentors from the University of Missouri--Rolla.

Description
Young Parents provides mentored support and encouragement to pregnant and parenting youth between the ages of 14 and 21. These young adults are paired with trained volunteer mentors who support the young adult through the challenging time of pregnancy, childbirth, and the first years of the baby's life. Young Parents also offers parenting classes, life skills training and monthly support meetings.

Description
The Independent Living Program works with foster children, ages 14-21 years old, to help them transition from foster care to independence. ILP monitors the youth's progress in programs provided by other agencies and vendors.

Capable Kids and Families is a program designed to support families who have a child with special needs. Program components include: weekly networking/playgroup meetings, an accessible playroom, and an extensive therapy equipment loan program. A resource library is also available to families and professionals. Equipment Loan Program: Equipment is available to address concerns in the following areas: gross and fine motor, speech and language development, sensory integration, ability switches and adapted toys, visual and auditory processing, cognitive development and problem solving, positioning, and mobility. Resource Library: Resources are available for checkout by families and professionals. The books, CDs, tapes, and kits cover a variety of topics. Capable Kids and Families is partnering with Saint Louis Arc to bring the CKF programs and services to the St. Louis area.
