Offer caregiver and stroke survivor support groups. Serve as voluntary health organization for stroke survivors, families, and caregivers by providing resources, services, education and information to improve individual's quality of life. May accept persons with brain injury or other neurological challenge on case by case basis. Provide various wellness programs to participants. Eligibility
Stroke survivors who are not independent (e.g. need help w/meals, bathroom) will need to come with a caregiver. Persons with traumatic brain injury, brain tumors, or other neurological conditions assessed on case by case basis but do not accept people with dementia. Must be able to go to the restroom, get food into/out of refrigerator, mount exercise equipment independently or caregiver must assist.
Fees
$80 monthly participation fee; no one turned away for inability to pay. Call for Financial Aid Application, some documentation necessary. Use sliding scale if unable to pay.
