Description
Individualized, one-on-one ACT/SAT preparation sessions. Overview of design and structure of the actual test; how to manage time while taking the test; phrasing possible questions and possible answers; general review of high school content; tools to help maneuver through and take the test; reading comprehension strategies; and math strategies.

Description
Staff works with faculty and parents in preschool settings to observe and identify children at risk for learning problems. After observation, staff provide feedback to parents and teachers and helps identify supports to ensure a plan for success as they enter elementary school.

Description
Cognitive Educational Evaluation: Includes in-depth interview with parents/guardians to understand concerns and goals; comprehensive diagnostic testing to identify current and potential learning disabilities, strengths and areas for improvement; a thorough analysis of child's cognitive, academic and processing skills; recommendations on the appropriate type and level of intervention and support needed; ongoing communication to discuss results, recommendations and future plans; written report that is complete within two weeks of evaluation. Evaluations are conducted by clinical and school psychologists.

Assess a child's expressive and receptive language skills to determine how a language disorder affects learning. Description
Individual Tutoring: Students work one-on-one with an educator two times each week after school and learn skills necessary to be successful in the classroom. Educational Coaching: One-on-one coaching for high school juniors, seniors and college students to provide strategies for how to complete assignments and manage course load.

Professional Development: Workshops are customized and created to meet professional development and training needs for educators, families, students, or residents. Topics include: brain development; teaching and understanding child behavior; content enhancement; and more. Parent Workshops: Offers a series of free parent workshops covering a variety of topics related to learning disabilities. Summer Workshop Sessions: Child attends classes that teach them new skills and tools to help them stay consistent with their own learning styles, help improve organization, time management, self-advocacy and their method of studying. Sessions are broken down by grade level. Educational Workshops: Workshop topics offered include - Intro to Learning Disabilities; Learning Disabilities Simulation; The IEP Process for Parents and Educators; Early Warning Signs of Learning Disabilities; Classroom Modification; Positive Behavior Support at Home or School; and more.
