Description:
The Carousel is a medical model (has nursing services) adult day program available to stroke survivors, persons with Alzheimer's or dementia or people who have a developmental disability like autism, Asperger's or other spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, deafness or blindness. Individuals also served with Patau Syndrome or Cornelia de Lange Syndrome.

Description
Provides a day program that teaches individuals about their health and/or monitoring their health needs such as offering blood pressure checks, ulcer/wound care and various therapies.

M-F 6:30 am-7pm

Adults with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, memory loss, serious medical conditions, traumatic brain injuries, mental disorders, and mental illnesses.
Fees
$90 for full day, $45 for half day. They offer sliding scale fees and no one is turned away due to inability to pay.

Day program is customized to each individual's need to learn skills and maintain their independence. Skills taught are centered on cooking, learning life skills, i.e., dusting, check writing, vacuuming and basic hygiene.
