Description
Metro CARE provides referrals to uninsured adults so they can get access to a primary care doctor or specialty doctor they need by connecting them with medical specialists, laboratories and hospitals willing to donate their time and expertise.
Hours
M-F 8:30am-4:30pm
Required Documents
Resident of Clay, Jackson, or Platte County Missouri for at least 3 months; family income equal to or less than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines; no medical insurance and not eligible for government medical assistance such as Medicare, Medicaid or VA benefits. Possess no kind of Medicare benefits or supplemental insurance.

Uninsured Clay, Jackson, and Platte County residents aged 18 and older
Fees
There are no fees for approved services; this agency does NOT guarantee that all medical services needed will be available through the program on a donated basis.
Intake Procedure
Patients are typically referred by the primary provider ordering the specialty referral. Metro Care then screens patients for eligibility and refers qualifying patients to a donating specialty provider.
