The Lenexa Police Department is a certified National Highway Transportation Safety Administration child safety seat inspection station. They will: evaluate your childâs safety seat to ensure that it is properly installed, make sure the seat is appropriate for the age and size of your child, and confirm whether the seat has been the subject of any manufacturerâs recalls. Safety seat inspections take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete.
