Our Policy
In our pantry we gather information from our families through our online registration and case management
forms. This helps us to get a clearer and more holistic picture of what our pantry guests are experiencing
(biggest needs, living situation, income, employment, etc.). We use this information to talk with guests and help
connect them with resources, encourage personalized goal setting, and engage with case management and
pastoral care. In our pantry we want to provide families with resources and support to help move them toward
finding long-term stability.
All individuals and families visiting the mobile pantry are encouraged to register ahead of time so that we can
prepare food for their family and anticipate their visit. Our online registration form includes a place to mark
which mobile pantry location a family plans to visit to get their food. We print off our registration list 1 hour prior
to mobile pantry start times. Anyone not pre registered with us for mobile pantry 1 hour prior will be asked to
register onsite at the mobile pantry and will receive limited food, as it is available.
The mobile pantry is intended to be a short-term supplement for individuals and families facing a brief crisis.
We ask that individuals and families needing assistance more than once a month meet with our case
management team to explore their ongoing needs so that we can provide more support to address the ongoing
instability. There may be special ongoing assistance available for our seniors (65+) living on a fixed income.
