Various Life Skills workshops are presented to small groups of participants to increase their knowledge and skills in areas that are important to managing life. Parent Education; Communication skills & styles; self esteem issues; constructive discipline; creative play. Nutrition/Shopping Skills: Nutrition guidelines & food safety; food buying; consumer tips. Time/Stress Management: Effectively gain control of time usage & habits. Coping with stress; techniques to reduce stress; children & stress. Health Care: Family health care; normal child development; self health care. Employment Skills: Job readiness and retainment skills training.
