Description

Provides liaison support, resources, education and training to enhance the understanding of the rights and responsibilities of individuals with developmental disabilities who encounter the justice system.

An IEP from school or psychiatric evaluation

Eligibility

Must be diagnosed with a developmental disability (intellectual disability, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, learning disability related to brain dysfunction, autism, head injury) - Must have criminal charges pending (pretrial) or on probation/parole - Must be diagnosed with disability before the age of 22 years, but now age 17 years and older to apply
