Description
Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing: Extensive case management services for homeless individuals and/or individuals in threat of being homeless. Services may include rent, gas, electric payment assistance, security deposits, first month's rent, placement in housing, etc.

Offers assistance with paying utility bills, which may include: metered services such as electric and gas bills, and non-metered services such as oil, wood, coal and propane. Does not pay reconnect fees. Currently funding available as of October 1, for elderly and disabled only. November 1, funding will open for others. If clients have received assistance in the past they will receive an application in the mail after the appropriate date. If they did not receive assistance last year they need to call for an application after the appropriate date.

Description
Weatherization and minor home repairs to assist low-income people, especially the elderly, individuals with disabilities and/or those with small children to conserve energy through the installation of weatherization materials. Weatherization uses an energy audit procedure to establish cost effective weatherization measures. The audit also calculates the reduction in energy usage.
