Cornerstones of Care can provide information about adoption resources and processes. Foster Care and Adoption Services include services to identify extended family or a well-known trusted adult in the child!s community to care for children removed from their homes. Through our Home Finding Center, social workers network with foster parents in 30 counties in Northwest Missouri in order to place a child or sibling group as close to home as possible. Cornerstones of Care provides Foster Care Case Management to focus on reunifying families with children in state custody in a safe environment.
When a family cannot be safely reunited, Cornerstones of Care provides adoption services for foster youth who might have difficulty finding a forever home. These are often youth with special needs including older youth and sibling groups who have been waiting the longest to find an adoptive family and home.

When a family cannot remain safely together, Cornerstones of Care provides adoption services, recruiting new families in Kansas and Missouri. We have a special interest in serving children who have been in foster care the longest, including older adolescents, large sibling groups, and youth with special needs. Anyone wishing to adopt a child in state custody is required to complete requisite training. These free courses can take 4-9 weeks to complete.

Description
Home finding services focus first on identifying extended family or a well-known trusted adult in the child's community to care for children within 24 hours when they are removed from their homes. A specialized team stays connected with foster parents utilizing a call center that notifies foster families if a child or sibling group needs placement in their area. The team streamlines the placement process and provides foster families with a single point of contact. Foster Care Case Management services are provided for every child in foster care, and have a goal of reunifying families in a safe home environment whenever possible.

Description
Cornerstones of Care is recruiting and licensing foster homes. We work with the Missouri Children's Division to provide the appropriate license for foster care in the state of Missouri. In order to become a foster parent, each family must become licensed care providers.
