Improving the health and wellbeing of children and adolescents occupies the very core of Niles! mission to meet mental health, educational and intensive behavioral and emotional support needs of high-risk youth and families. Our on-site programs provide strengths-based and trauma-informed services, education, behavioral/mental health treatment, and medical healthcare in safe, structured, nurturing and supportive surroundings. Niles provides Residential Treatment services for youth affected by neglect, emotional disturbances, child abuse and educational deprivation that interferes with their day-to-day functioning. Niles Day Treatment services provide a combination of therapeutic intervention and academic instruction.

Description
Niles Residential Treatment provides youth the opportunity to receive treatment in a 24/7/365 setting that allows them to engage in their treatment and learn new skills through individual, group and family therapy, substance use disorder treatment, healthy life-styles groups, art, music and recreational therapies. Niles Residential treatment program for children and adolescents (ages 6-17) addresses issues such as depression, trauma, PTSD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Bi-polar Disorder.

Description
Niles Prep School and Day Treatment offers academic instruction combined with state-approved, trauma-informed therapeutic treatment for grades K-12. Our program is designed for those having difficulty functioning in mainstream classroom settings due to educational/psychological/behavioral concerns. Small classroom sizes offer a place to heal, change, grow; learning becomes interesting and fun. Students receive blended learning experiences through teacher-led coursework and online customized curriculum, allowing guided self-paced learning.
