Description
Supports individuals with developmental disabilities who are living on their own and generally need 10 hours or less support a week in order to maintain independence. Supports may include locating and securing housing, health and safety, money management, budgeting, banking, personal care, home maintenance, nutrition and meal planning, social skills and developing natural supports.

- Pre-Vocational Training: Assists with resume-writing, developing interview skills, money-handling and accessing transportation. - Project SEARCH: A nine month program in which young adults develop work skills within a community business. Participants learn through classroom instruction, career exploration and hands-on internships.

- Independent Supported Living Arrangements: Supports individuals with developmental disabilities who are living on their own and generally need 10 hours or less support a week in order to maintain independence. Supports may include locating and securing housing, health and safety, money management, budgeting, banking, personal care, home maintenance, nutrition and meal planning, social skills and developing natural supports. - Shared Living: Through this program, individuals with developmental disabilities live with a chosen companion who provides an opportunity to build social skills, independence and companionship. Companions provide 24/7 guidance, ensure individual eats healthy meals and takes medication. Companions are carefully screened, trained and evaluated regularly.
