Description
Teen Skills Jr: Campers work on acquiring social and daily independent living skills while participating in traditional camp activities, such as swimming, arts and crafts, cooking, sports, etc. Additionally, campers will take day trips to St. Louis attractions and engage in volunteer opportunities. Participants can be supported in a 1:1 staff ratio. Teen Skills Sr: Campers work on acquiring social and vocational skills as they transition into adulthood. Participants spend time in the community, engaging in a variety of volunteer and recreational activities. Participants also work on interviewing skills, money handling skills and interpersonal skills as well as traditional camp activities such as swimming, cooking, fitness, nature, etc. Participants must be successful in a 1:4 staff to participant ratio.
