Description
Home weatherization service for income-eligible homeowners and renters. Weatherization crews insulate attics, walls, and floors and perform infiltration measures to homes to make them more energy-efficient and to lower utility bills for the client. Gas and water heating systems are tested for health and safety problems and are repaired or replaced if a problem is detected. Also provides long-term, permanent home repairs and improvements.

Provides assistance in finding a job on Missouri's Great Hires website, GED instructional assistance, career assessments, and on-the-job training program, and tuition assistance to help pay for college. An on-site resource room is available with computers, Internet, and resume preparation assistance. The SkillUP program provides SNAP participants opportunities to prepare for employment.
