Description

Emergency financial assistance to households facing eviction in housing courts in Jackson, Clay and Platte Counties. Assistance can provide help paying rental debt and court fees, based upon eligibility.

M-F 9am-4pm

Required Documents

Proof of address; verification of income; picture ID; Social Security card for each member of household

Eligibility

Active eviction case or recent eviction court judgement; At or below 80% of Area Median Income; Assistance is limited, based on federal guidelines and whether the applicant household has received prior assistance from Right to Counsel

Call 211 and ask Resource Navigator for help doing “Right to Counsel” intake
