UHONS funding helps at-risk families in communities across the state regain self-sufficiency. This is a one-time grant to support the immediate basic needs of families in crisis. Funding to be used for Rent Assistance, Utility Assistance (Electric and Gas), and one month of Childcare Expense Assistance at a state-licensed childcare provider.

UHON Statewide: Provides one month of financial assistance with child care payments to state-licensed providers.

Required Documents
Photo ID Proof of Residence (at least 1 utility bill, personal property tax statement, tax return, bank statement, letter from government or court, statement of government benefits like SSI/SSDI, WIC, or SNAP) Proof of earned and unearned income for all household adults (at least 1 for each adult - 2 recent pay stubs, letter from employer, pension letter, Armed Forces Allotment, Child Support, Union Funds or Strike Benefits, Government benefit statement letters like SSI/SSDI, TANF, Unemployment or WIC/SNAP, tax returns) Proof of Social Security Number for all household members (SS cards, award letters, tax return with SS Numbers for all household members)
