Avenue of Life offers two programs for families experiencing homelessness. The Impact KCK program works with families that have a child in any Wyandotte County, KS public school and the KCPS Empowerment program works with families that have a child in Kansas City, MO Public School District. Programs require referral from McKinney Vento Liaison at student's school. Avenue of Life works with with these families to access housing, employment classes, financial assistance and other services.

Family is experiencing homelessness and has a student in any Wyandotte County public school or in the Kansas City, MO Public School District.

Intake Procedure
Call Avenue of Life for information about enrollment process or enroll through school district. A referral from the McKinney Vento Liaison at the child's school is necessary for a family to enter the program; Avenue of Life can help callers navigate that process.
