Private membership organizations that provide facilities for people who want to play tennis or other racquet sports which usually include courts for tennis, racquetball, squash or other racquet games; and a clubhouse which is equipped with lockers, shower and changing facilities, a dining room, a bar and other amenities. Most racquet clubs also offer lessons in the racquet sport of choice, sponsor tournaments and offer an array of social activities for members.
