Organizations that provide opportunities for individuals and families to open tax-sheltered Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) that can be used to pay for qualified out-of-pocket medical expenses including deductibles and co-payments. Contributions that people make to their HSAs are tax deductible. Individuals eligible for an HSA may also have certain other types of coverage in addition to their high-deductible plan.
